Taking a nice warm bath is a great way relax after a long day. This oh-so simple rose petal bath soak recipe will just make your bath even more soothing and offer some great benefits to your skin as well. Epsom salt helps to relieve pain and relax your muscles, while the oatmeal acts as a moisturizer and will also help sooth any skin rashes or irritation. The baking soda is also great for detoxification. So why not add this delicious smelling soak to your next bath and not only relax, but also help your skin be the best it can be!
What you will need:
2 cups of finely ground Epsom salts (if you have the corse kind just throw it in the blender or food processor)
1 cup of Oats
1 cup of baking soda
Rose essential oil/essence
1/2 cup of dried rose petals (optional if you don’t have these)
Step 1:
In a food processor or blender grind the oats until they are a fine texture and add them to a medium sized bowl.
Step 2:
Next add the baking soda and Epsom salts to the bowl.
Step 3:
Drop a few drops of your rose essential oil into the mixture. I used this wild rose body oil by Weleda.
Step 4:
Put your dried rose petals into the blender or food processor and blend until they are small pieces.
Step 6:
Mix everything together, and spoon the mixture into your jars/containers.
Step 7:
Grab a good book, light some candles, and take a nice relaxing bath with your new rose bath soak!
